Volleyball Game Preview: Castaic Coyotes vs. Golden Valley Grizzlies

Castaic hasn't had much luck against Golden Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Castaic will venture away from home to challenge Golden Valley at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Castaic came up short against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against West Ranch, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Grizzlies have suffered since April 18, 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-10.

Castaic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Golden Valley, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Castaic couldn't quite get it done against Golden Valley when the teams last played on March 6th as they fell 3-1. Can Castaic avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
