Walsh lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Wiley, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Panthers 81-51. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Walsh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Samuel Wright and Jackson Foster. Wright also posted 147 receiving yards, which is notable because Walsh is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

When it comes to explaining why Wiley lost, don't look at Grant Mauch. Despite the final result, he threw for 271 yards and six touchdowns, and also rushed for 92 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Mauch is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Walsh's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Wiley, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Walsh will face off against Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wiley, they will square off against Cheraw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Wolverines' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
