Recap: Arcanum Trojans vs. New Bremen Cardinals
It was a good run, but the Arcanum Trojans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 61-34 defeat at the hands of New Bremen. Arcanum has not had much luck with New Bremen recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Arcanum's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Regan Christ, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Christ is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Matthew Mccans, who scored nine points.
Arcanum's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for New Bremen, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Arcanum on the road again on Friday and play against Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Bradford will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for New Bremen, New Bremen and Marion Local will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
