Baseball Recap: Rainier Beach Takes a Loss

Rainier Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Roosevelt Roughriders. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Roughriders when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rainier Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Roosevelt, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rainier Beach will face off against rival Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt is set to challenge their familiar foe Seattle Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
