Basketball Recap: Bath Takes a Loss

If Bath was riding high fresh off their 60-25 takedown of Dansville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bath Fighting Bees were outmatched by the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates and fell 58-27. The Fighting Bees have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bath's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bath will welcome Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laingsburg will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bath surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Perry at 7:00 p.m.
