Football Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Branson/Kim Bearcats + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Karsten Buller and Will Doherty are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Eads Eagles will challenge the Branson/Kim Bearcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eads has given up an average of 39.1 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eads is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Otis, who was ranked 14th at the time (Eads was ranked 17th). The Eagles were dealt a 74-42 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Eads might have lost, but man, Anthony Paez was a machine: he picked up 109 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown. Paez didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made 15 total tackles.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 73 points the game before, Branson/Kim was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were beaten by Cheyenne Wells 56-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bearcats were not able to get on the board.

Eads' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Branson/Kim, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Eads against Branson/Kim when the teams last played back in September of 2017, as the team secured a 65-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
