Volleyball Recap: Cumberland Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Cumberland Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to New Life Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against New Life Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-15.

Naomi Quinn went supernova For New Life Christian., getting 15 kills, eight aces, and four digs. That's the most kills Quinn has posted over her last seven matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayna Head, who had five digs, four aces, and one block.

Cumberland Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for New Life Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Cumberland Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Heritage Academy on the 3rd. As for New Life Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against GVCS Broadfording on the 3rd.
