Baseball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors

For the second straight game, Independence will face off against Yerba Buena. The 76ers will head out to face off against the Aztec Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Independence has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 11 straight defeats, while Yerba Buena will come in with five straight wins.

Independence lost 19-9 to Yerba Buena on Tuesday.

Ethan T. Lamosao made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Todd, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one double.

Yerba Buena pushed their record up to 5-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.3 runs. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
