Kennedy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs with a sharp 14-4 victory. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly ten runs.

Kennedy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will square off against Colton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
