Jensen Hirschkorn posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Hirschkorn and Kingsburg will challenge Paso Robles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bearcats will enter the matchup having just beaten Mission College Prep, so the Vikings will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
