Orem faced Provo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Orem not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Provo between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lexi Carter, who had 14 digs. Carter is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Orem's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Provo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Orem will square off against Uintah at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Provo, they will take on Skyline at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
