Clovis West and Clovis are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Golden Eagles will head out to face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clovis West is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26 points per game this season.

On Friday, Clovis West needed a bit of extra time to put away Clovis North. They secured a 30-24 W over the Broncos. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Golden Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clovis West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jamar (JJ) Howard, who threw for 237 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 42 yards and one TD.
