Recap: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Kearns Cougars        
        
		
            
 The Taylorsville Warriors came tearing into  Tuesday's  match with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past Kearns with a  42-38 win. That's another feather in the cap for Taylorsville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Taylorsville can attribute much of their success to  Aysha Salami, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds. Salami also  posted two  blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was  Felika Tauvao, who  scored six points along with 11  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Kearns lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Kylee Glade, who  scored ten points along with three  steals.  Adhau Chol was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with five  blocks.
 Taylorsville is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Kearns, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylorsville will take on Granger at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Taylorsville is facing Granger at the right time seeing as Granger is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Kearns, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Cyprus at 7:00  p.m.  on February 8th. One thing working in Cyprus' favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last three games.
