Basketball Recap: Williams Field Comes Up Short

Williams Field and Basha squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Williams Field had to settle for second. They lost to the Basha Bears at home by a 46-32 margin. The Black Hawks have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Basha got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amira Reynolds out in front who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Terrais-Joi Coleman, who earned 12 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Williams Field's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Basha, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Williams Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Basha, they will face off against Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Basha is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season.
