Central Catholic came tearing into Monday's contest with 15 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the St. Thomas Episcopal Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Monday.

Central Catholic pushed their record up to 28-5-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for St. Thomas Episcopal, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
