Basketball Recap: Sts. Peter & Paul Extends Winning Streak to Six

Sts. Peter & Paul extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Garret Hemingway. The Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres put the hurt on the North Dorchester Eagles with a sharp 73-51 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Hemingway, who posted 37 points. His evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Porter Bishop, who had 14 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Sts. Peter & Paul has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for North Dorchester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Sts. Peter & Paul didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-68 win against Beth Tfiloh on the 4th. North Dorchester has also already played their next contest, an 82-62 defeat against Mardela on the 3rd.
