Basketball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the West 50th Street Seahawks, falling 84-57. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Irving this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 106-59 back in December of 2024.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for West 50th Street, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Irving will take on Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Irving is facing Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus at the right time seeing as Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for West 50th Street, they will head out on the road to face off against Percy Sutton at 5:00 p.m. on February 4th.
