Soccer Recap: Capitol Hill Takes a Loss

Capitol Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Putnam City North Panthers. Capitol Hill were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Putnam City North apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Capitol Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1. As for Putnam City North, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12-2.

Capitol Hill and Putnam City North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Redwolves will challenge Edmond North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (108 vs. 12). Meanwhile, Putnam City North (ranked 90th) will meet Edmond Memorial (ranked first) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
