 The Rockford East E-Rabs will head out on the road to  challenge  the Guilford Vikings at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The  squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Rockford East has struggled recently with 40 losses in a row, while Guilford will arrive with three straight  victories.
 Rockford East lost  16-1 to Rockford Auburn on Monday.
 Meanwhile, Guilford made easy work of Jefferson  on Monday and carried off  an  11-2 win.
  Jordan Hanserd spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Amiyah Wyrick was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  California Welding, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-5.
 Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
 Rockford East suffered a grim  13-0 defeat to Guilford  in their previous matchup  back in April. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Hanserd, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched.
