On Wednesday, Lugoff-Elgin took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 55-16 victory over Aynor. That looming 55-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lugoff-Elgin yet this season.

Lugoff-Elgin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Savon Jenkins led the charge by scoring ten points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Kaleb Long was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.

Lugoff-Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Aynor, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Lugoff-Elgin won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. North Myrtle Beach will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Aynor will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
