Basketball Recap: Flathead Valley Piles Up the Points Against Troy

On Saturday, the Flathead Valley Crusaders humbled the Troy Trojans with an 81-49 victory.

The victory got Flathead Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Troy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flathead Valley and North Idaho Christian will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. North Idaho Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. As for Troy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Plains on January 3, 2025. Plains' defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Troy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
