Recap: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. South Central Trojans

There's no place like home for the Buckeye Central Bucks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on South Central with a sharp 69-45 win on Tuesday. That 69-45 margin sets a new team best for Buckeye Central this season.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gunner Ray, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Knoll, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Buckeye Central's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for South Central, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye Central will square off against Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seneca East will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for South Central, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Paul at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
