Football Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brandon had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it eight. They took a blow against the Bloomingdale Bulls, falling 44-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 40-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Bloomingdale, the win got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bloomingdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston Beckham led the charge by rushing for 131 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Another rusher making a difference was JonPaul Rinaldi, who rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

Brandon has already played their next game, a 62-6 loss against Hillsborough on the 26th. As for Bloomingdale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-29 defeat against Bartow on the 26th.
