Recap: Northmor Golden Knights vs. Centerburg Trojans

Even though the Northmor Golden Knights have not done well against the Centerburg Trojans recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Northmor walked away with a 63-52 win over Centerburg. The victory was nothing new for Northmor as they're now sitting on three straight.

Northmor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Drew Hammond, who scored 15 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Bentley, who scored 21 points.

Northmor has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Centerburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Northmor will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Gilead at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Gilead is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Centerburg, they will head out on the road to challenge Danville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Danville has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
