Baseball Game Preview: Monroe Trojans vs. Huron River Rats

For the second straight game, Monroe will face off against Huron. The Trojans will square off against the River Rats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monroe barely beat Huron the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the River Rats on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the River Rats: they've now won nine in a row.

For Huron's part, Xander Bola?os was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jon Boerst, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Monroe's win bumped their record up to 6-20. As for Huron, they dropped their record down to 9-27-1 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road.
