Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wilson walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Legacy Tigers on Wednesday, sneaking past 10-9. For the Mules, this counts as revenge for the 8-6 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2022.

Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Legacy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Looking ahead, Wilson will face off against Roosevelt at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
