Softball Game Preview: Patriot Warriors vs. La Sierra Eagles

The Patriot Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the La Sierra Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Patriot knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully La Sierra likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Patriot got the win against Rubidoux by a conclusive 21-4. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, La Sierra lost 11-1 to Jurupa Valley on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

La Sierra saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rose Johnson, who got a hit.

Patriot's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for La Sierra, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Patriot took their win against La Sierra when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
