Basketball Recap: Northland Christian Comes Up Short

Northland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Kansas City Christian School Panthers, falling 54-15. The contest marked Northland Christian's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Northland Christian had strong showings from Molly Day, who posted nine points, and Kaitlyn Kellam, who put up no points. Day is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Mia Brown also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Northland Christian now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kansas City Christian School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
