Basketball Recap: Inter-City Baptist Beats Douglass for Their Third Straight Win

Inter-City Baptist won the last time they faced Douglass and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Inter-City Baptist Chargers walked away with a 63-50 win over the Douglass Hurricanes. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Inter-City Baptist's third in a row) raised their record to 23-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Douglass, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
