Preview: Calhoun vs. Peach County
Peach County will face off against Calhoun in a playoff matchup on Friday. Both of these red-hot teams will try to put the other on ice to keep their winning streaks alive.
Peach County kept a clean sheet against Brantley County last week. The Trojans escaped their match against Brantley County unscathed, winning 19 to nothing.
Meanwhile, Calhoun earned some postseason bragging rights after a successful outing last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 38-10 margin over Morgan County. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Calhoun had established a 31-10 advantage.
Peach County had enough points to win and then some against Calhoun when the two teams last met in last November, taking their contest 22-7. The Trojans' win shoved the Yellowjackets out of the playoffs, so expect the team to have a target on their back in this one.
