Football Recap: The First Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Milton + How To Watch

The First Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 24-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milton Eagles on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

The First Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Devin Jackson. He is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

The critical scores for Milton came from Tristan Lester, Bentley Hickman, and E. B. Bailey.

The victory got Milton back to even at 1-1.
