Basketball Recap: Patterson Piles Up the Points Against Lake Clifton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patterson). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Lake Clifton Lakers 64-23. The Clippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Patterson's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for Lake Clifton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Patterson and Lake Clifton's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Patterson and Edmondson-Westside (who has only given up 27.8 points per game) will meet at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Clifton will challenge Forest Park at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a team that's only allowed 28.42 points per game.
