Athens kept a clean sheet against Paris on Saturday. They skirted past the Wildcats 1-0. Athens' winning goal came courtesy of Camila Martinez.

Athens is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Paris, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-4.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Sulphur Springs on the 10th. As for Paris, they will challenge Carthage at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. Carthage's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
