Basketball Recap: Satsuma Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Satsuma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals , falling 55-34. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 69th).

Satsuma's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for St. Michael Catholic, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Satsuma will welcome St. Michael Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for St. Michael Catholic, they will venture away from home to square off against Orange Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
