Cary-Grove had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Crystal Lake Central on Tuesday. The Cary-Grove Trojans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Crystal Lake Central Tigers 49-17. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The win (which was Cary-Grove's third in a row) raised their record to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Crystal Lake Central, they dropped their record down to 7-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
