After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bell City, Starks was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over the Johnson Bayou Rebels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since December 11, 2023.

Starks is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record this season. As for Johnson Bayou, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Starks will take on South Cameron at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnson Bayou, they will face off against Pickering at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
