Zach Loy gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Monday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Grandview Heights is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Loy and Grandview Heights will be playing at home against Bishop Ready at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Silver Knights thanks in part to Loy: he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
