Softball Game Preview: Lafayette County Cougars vs. Bearden Bears

The Lafayette County Cougars will take on the Bearden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Thursday, Lafayette County came up short against Nevada and fell 8-4.

Kaylee Harper was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Destiny Davis, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Bearden lost 13-3 to Bradley.

Lafayette County's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Bearden, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
