Softball Recap: Lee Park Prep Knights vs. Concord Academy Eagles
Lee Park Prep put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Concord Academy Eagles as the Lee Park Prep Knights made off with a 14-3 win. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 16-4 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
Ansley Green made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Green was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nevaeh Alexander, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Alexander is crushing it when it comes to hits: she's got at least three every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Morgan Swann, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
