Softball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Comes Up Short

Christian Brothers Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Marcellus Mustangs, falling 9-2. The Brothers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Christian Brothers Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Marcellus, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Christian Brothers Academy and Marcellus will both be playing Mexico the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Brothers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
