Riverdale posted their closest win since May 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Alleman Pioneers 4-3. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Claire Beeler, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Mya Dalaska also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Riverdale's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Alleman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Riverdale will be playing in front of their home fans against East Moline United at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alleman, they will head out on the road to face off against Orion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
