Oxon Hill entered their tilt with Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Tigers 3-0. The Clippers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

While Oxon Hill won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-8.

Nyah Tucker paced Oxon Hill's offense, picking up seven kills. Tucker got some help from Willoe Harris and her 15 assists. Olivia Carson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Oxon Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Oxon Hill will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against International High School at Largo at 6:00 p.m. After both having extra time off, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South and Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South their first taste of in-conference action this season.
