Recap: Redmond Panthers vs. North Eugene Highlanders
The Redmond Panthers pushed their score all the way to 61 on Sunday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Eugene. Redmond was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Eugene apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2016.
North Eugene can attribute much of their success to Jonas Spencer, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Spencer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Gould, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Redmond now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Eugene, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Redmond will be playing at home against Henley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Henley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. North Eugene's road trip will continue as they head out to face Roseburg at 6:45 p.m. on December 5th.
