Trinity is 7-0 against East Davidson since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Trinity Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the East Davidson Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 15 consecutive losses for Trinity and four for East Davidson.

Trinity is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Providence Grove on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Trinity had to suffer through a 75-33 loss at the hands of Providence Grove. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 42 points.

Meanwhile, East Davidson was beaten by Salisbury 100-38 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 578th, while the Hornets are ranked 135th).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for East Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Trinity strolled past East Davidson when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 73-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
