Softball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson fell victim to Hagerstown and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Hagerstown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Anderson will be playing in front of their home fans against Fishers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Hagerstown, they will head out on the road to face off against Winchester Community at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.76 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
