Baseball Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dixie can now relate to. They lost 15-1 to the Dayton Christian WARRIORS on Friday. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the WARRIORS recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dayton Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Dixie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dayton Christian, they will challenge Northmor at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the WARRIORS' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
