Baseball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

If Conway was feeling good fresh off their 37-0 takedown of Little Rock Southwest on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wampus Cats fell just short of the Cabot Panthers by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 23-1. As for Cabot, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Conway will face off against North Little Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Wampus Cats' favor as the team sits on 20 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Charging Wildcats have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Cabot has already played their next matchup (against Maumelle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
