Basketball Game Preview: Frederica Academy vs. Brentwood War Eagles + How To Watch

Frederica Academy will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Brentwood War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Frederica Academy is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Hilton Head Christian Academy. Frederica Academy blew past Hilton Head Christian Academy, posting a 72-22 victory.

Meanwhile, Brentwood got the win against Piedmont Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 64-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the War Eagles have posted against the Cougars since February 26, 2022.

Brentwood's win came from a few key players Frederica Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bailey Barron, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Callie Jones, who shot 63% from the field on her way to 13 points and three steals.

Brentwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.
