Sturgis Brown will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Aberdeen Central, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Sturgis Brown walked away with a 63-54 win over Aberdeen Central last Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scoopers.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas More is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Houston. St. Thomas More fell 64-54 to Houston. The Cavaliers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sturgis Brown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Thomas More, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Sturgis Brown might still be hurting after the 66-46 defeat they got from St. Thomas More when the teams last played back in January. Can Sturgis Brown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
