Basketball Recap: Edgewood Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Edgewood won the last time they faced Grand Saline, and Kagan Grant did her part to make sure it happened again. The Edgewood Bulldogs walked away with a 43-35 win over the Grand Saline Indians on Tuesday thanks in part to Grant, who posted 15 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds. That's the most assists she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Edgewood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-18 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Grand Saline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

Edgewood has already played their next game, a 44-33 defeat against Quitman on the 17th. As for Grand Saline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-18 loss against Malakoff on the 17th.
